What we’re About

Birmingham Softball League

The Birmingham Softball League (BSL) is a mixed gender slow-pitch softball league based in central Birmingham.

It was established in 2012 and currently consists of three teams:

Birmingham Centaurs
Birmingham Minotaurs
Pink Panthers

Although we are a new league, we have a wealth of experience behind us and we’re increasing in membership and publicity.

The BSL is open to all and we encourage players of all ages, abilities and walks of life to get involved. Our players mostly come from the Midlands, but the BSL also draws people in from further afield.

The BSL offers players the opportunity to socialise, develop skills, have fun and play this fantastic sport in a friendly, safe atmosphere. In addition to providing league games, it also offers training clinics and social events.

If you are new to the game, an experienced player or a representative for an established softball team and keen to get involved we would love to hear from you

The BSL is run by a committee of volunteers and is supported by BaseballSoftballUK and the British Softball Federation.
